Will riddick, PT, DPT

Will Riddick, PT, DPT, completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 from VirginiaCommonwealth University and joined The Gait Center upon graduation. Since that time Will hasdeveloped a significant clinical interest in patients experiencing peripheral neuropathy, lowerextremity amputation, neurological diagnoses affecting walking, and other lower extremityimpairments.
Outside of clinical work with patients, Will is passionate about bringing the latest research into physical therapy practice, particularly for those with walking impairments. He is able to do just that through his position on staff with the non-profit, Mission Gait Foundation, serving as the Director of Research and Educational Resources. This passion has led to multiple university research partnerships including work with Old Dominion University and North Carolina State University’s Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Lab. He has been published in the Physical Therapy Journal as well as the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation. Also in this role, Will develops educational materials and videos for physical therapists and is a regular lecturer for physical therapy clinicians and physical therapy students alike. He is the creator of Mission Gait’s YouTube channel which serves to provide educational resources to patients and professionals worldwide, receiving 35,000 views every month.
Will lives in Mechanicsville, VA with his wife, daughter, and twin boys. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, searching out great coffee, and cooking.
